PDF Pro Launches Suite of Free Online Tools for common PDF Tasks to be performed in the cloud

The First set of tools include an online PDF Combine Tool as well as a Tool that allows you to rotate individual pages within a PDF Document.

PDF Pro has traditionally been a PDF Editing tool exclusively for Windows-based desktop applications. That was until today!

I'm very excited to announce that we have rolled our first batch of free online PDF tools, designed to help people work with PDF files without having to download software. The two that are currently available on our website are:

Combine PDF Files online: upload the PDF files you wish to merge and download the merged PDF file!

And:

Rotate Pages within a PDF File online: upload the PDF file you are working on, and then rotate the individual pages.

What do I mean by "Free online tools"?

You can use our online tools currently without restrictions. That means, you do not need to create an account to use these tools, no limits on the number of documents you can merge or rotate. We made our designs responsive so they work on Desktop as well as mobile applications.

Why are we building online tools?

You might be wondering why we decided to start making online tools, especially after I wrote an opinion piece around why you should avoid using online PDF tools (tldr if you're uploading your files to a server, then they are no longer private). I think it comes down to a few reasons:

• Works on any device: online tools work on your mobile phone and tablet, and on Mac.
• More convenient: You don't need to install an app to make simple adjustments to your PDF files, and you don't need to pay anything!

Our Online Merge Tool and our Rotate PDF tools are just the tip of the iceberg. I am proud of my team for what they were able to deliver thus far. We are planning many more tools, such as rearranging pages, converting file formats and many more. Stay tuned!
