Detta slutanvändarlicensavtal (hädanefter kallat "EULA") utgör ett juridiskt och bindande avtal mellan PDF Pro Software Ltd., med registrerat kontor på 1383 W 8th Ave, Vancouver, BC V6H 3V9, Kanada, företagsregistreringsnr. 700468291BC0001, inklusive dess dotterbolag, dotterbolag och entreprenörer som agerar på dess vägnar (hädanefter gemensamt kallade "PDF Pro", "Oss", "Vi >”, eller “vår”) och varje person eller enhet och dess arvingar, agenter, efterträdare och överlåtare som har köpt, eller har behörighet att, få åtkomst till vår PDF Pro-programvara (nedan kallad enskilt och gemensamt som "Du" eller "Din")

SEKT. 1 – KÄLLOR, TILLGÅNG, LEVERANS OCH KRAV

1.1 Desktop Software License. Subject to your Subscription Plan, you are granted a limited, worldwide, non-assignable, and non-exclusive license to use the PDF Pro desktop software downloaded specifically from pdfpro.com.

1.2 Platform-Specific Builds. You acknowledge that PDF Pro maintains separate, distinct software builds for Windows and macOS operating systems. Your license grants you access to the specific build compatible with your purchased plan. A license for one platform does not inherently grant access to the other unless expressly provided in your Subscription Plan.

2.2) Tillåtna enheter. Du har endast tillåtelse att komma åt och använda PDF Pro-programvaran genom att köra det antal enheter (och/eller auktoriserade användare, i händelse av fleranvändarkonto) som tillåts av den relevanta prenumerationen. Om inget annat anges, är det maximala tillåtna antalet enheter per användare (och/eller per auktoriserad användare, i fallet med fleranvändarkonto) två (2).

SEKT. 2 – RÄTTIGHETER BEVILDA

You shall not, and shall not permit others to: Reverse Engineer: Decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the software. Redistribute: Rent, lease, sell, or sublicense the software to any third party. Compete: Use the software to build or support products competing with PDF Pro. Remove Notices: Alter or remove any identification markings or copyright notices.

SEKT. 3 – DITT ANSVAR

3.1 Third-Party Notices. The software may include third-party components. Comprehensive notices, credits, and additional license terms for third-party software are accessible directly within the desktop application via the "About PDF Pro" popup.

3.2 System Requirements. The software is only eligible for support when running on the hardware and operating system environments specified in the official PDF Pro documentation. You are responsible for any hardware updates or third-party fees required to maintain compatibility.

Notice on Modernization: Over time, PDF Pro may lose compatibility with older computer systems in order to continue adding new functionality, modernizing its offerings, and maintaining security. We disclaim any liability in case updates result in an unavailability or incompatibility with older hardware or pre-existing third-party software.

4. AUTOMATIC UPDATES & AVAILABILITY

4.1 Maintenance Updates. The software may contain automatic update technology to provide bug fixes, patches, and new versions. By installing the software, you consent to the automatic downloading and installation of these maintenance features.

4.2 Discontinuation. We reserve the right to discontinue specific features or technical support in accordance with our discontinuation policy.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDF Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the software. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the fees actually paid for your Subscription Plan during the twelve (12) month period preceding the date the claim arose.

6. INDEMNIFICATION

3.5) Ersättning. Till tredje parts anspråk som härrör från ett brott mot dina skyldigheter enligt detta avsnitt 3 (Ditt ansvar), sekter. 9.1) och 9.2) nedan ska gälla, utöver alla andra rättigheter eller gottgörelser som ges oss enligt detta EULA och/eller enligt tillämplig lag.

7. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

7.1 Governing Law. This EULA is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

7.2 Exclusive Jurisdiction. Any dispute arising out of this EULA shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

8. AMENDMENTS

10.7) Tillägg. Ikraftträdandedatumet för den senaste versionen av detta EULA är skrivet ovan, som publiceras från tid till annan på vår webbplats på EULA. Vi har rätt att när som helst ändra detta EULA och att ändra, ta bort, avbryta eller införa villkor för användning av PDF Pro-programvaran, i vilket fall de nya villkoren kommer att ersätta tidigare villkor. Alla ändringar kommer att träda i kraft efter trettio (30) dagar från det att vi först meddelar dig om sådana ändringar via e-post eller/och meddelanden när vi använder PDF Pro-programvaran och/eller andra rimliga metoder. Din fortsatta användning av PDF Pro-programvaran efter ändringar av detta Licensavtal efter ikraftträdandet av en reviderad version av det utgör ditt uttryckliga godkännande av, och samtycke till att vara bunden av, detta Licensavtal som gäller från tid till annan. Om du inte accepterar ändrade EULA helt eller delvis måste du avsluta ditt konto och sluta använda PDF Pro-programvaran innan ändringen träder i kraft.
